What is EEG?<\/b><\/p>\n
The electrical activity generated by the nerve cells of the brain is printed on the paper in the form of brain waves.<\/p>\n
In which situations is it necessary?<\/b><\/p>\n
The normal electrical activity of the brain deteriorates in many cases. By the evaluation of the brain waves forming the EEG, information about the place and shape of this disorder is obtained.<\/p>\n
How is EEG imaging done?<\/b><\/p>\n
The electrical activity of the brain is transmitted to the EEG device via small metal electrodes placed on the scalp hair of the patient and the data is recorded on the computer for about 20 minutes. It is not possible to give the patient electricity during shooting and the patient will not feel any pain. In order to obtain a stable, quality recording, the patient should stand still as long as possible, keeping his eyes closed, jaws and neck muscles loose during shooting unless otherwise desired.<\/p>\n
